Die Bring Your Own Image (BYOI)-Funktion ermöglicht es dir, benutzerdefinierte Betriebssysteme, ISO-Dateien oder vorkonfigurierte virtuelle Maschinen-Festplatten-Images hochzuladen und direkt auf deinem VPS bereitzustellen.

1. Ein Image hochladen

Du kannst auf die BYOI-Oberfläche über deine aktive VPS-Verwaltungsseite zugreifen. Du hast zwei Optionen, ein Image hinzuzufügen:

• Direkter Upload: Wähle eine Datei von deinem Computer. Unterstützte Formate sind ISO, QCOW2, IMG, OVA, VMDK, RAW, ZIP, TAR.GZ und weitere. Die maximale Dateigröße beträgt 50 GB.
• Import von URL: Gib einen direkten Download-Link zur Image-Datei an. Unser Server wird sie für dich herunterladen.

2. ISO-Dateien verwenden

If you uploaded an ISO file (CD/DVD image), you can Mount it to your VPS's virtual CD-ROM drive (IDE 2 or IDE 3). Once mounted, you can restart your VPS and use the VNC Console to manually install the operating system, just like on a physical computer.

3. Festplatten-Images bereitstellen

If you uploaded a virtual disk image (like QCOW2 or RAW), you can use the Install option. This will completely replace the primary hard drive of your VPS.

During installation, it is recommended to select VirtIO 0 as the target disk for the best performance. However, as noted above, if your image was built for a specific controller type, select that corresponding interface instead.
