Extra Firewall Protection Options

With the extra firewall feature available for VPS servers, you can activate specialized, pre-configured protection profiles (e.g., for Metin2, FiveM, or other game servers) directly from your VPS control panel. These profiles filter traffic at the host level (before it reaches your virtual machine), effectively offloading malicious attack traffic from your VPS.

What kind of attacks does it protect against?

• DDoS and Flood Attacks: The profiles filter UDP and TCP flood attacks targeting specific game ports. Protects agains common attack factors against the selected game server.
• Amplification (DNS/NTP) Attacks: Automated filters drop known amplification/reflection traffic, preventing your server's bandwidth from becoming saturated.
• Automatic Banlists: The protection system detects suspicious sources and automatically bans them temporarily (e.g., with a 60-second timeout) without consuming any of your VPS resources for processing firewall rules.

How to activate it?

1. Open your VPS management panel on our website.
2. Find the Extra firewall protection section.
3. Select the desired profile from the dropdown list (e.g., Metin2 protection, FiveM protection, etc.).
4. Enter the custom ports used by your server (e.g., FiveM and txAdmin ports) and save the configuration.

Note: Rules are automatically deployed in the background after saving, which typically takes 5-10 minutes. Please make sure not to enter critical system ports (such as SSH 22 or MySQL 3306), as the system blocks these for security reasons.
