The Bring Your Own Image (BYOI) feature allows you to upload custom operating systems, ISO files, or pre-configured virtual machine disk images and deploy them directly to your VPS.
You can access the BYOI interface from your active VPS management page. You have two options to add an image:
If you uploaded an ISO file (CD/DVD image), you can Mount it to your VPS's virtual CD-ROM drive (IDE 2 or IDE 3). Once mounted, you can restart your VPS and use the VNC Console to manually install the operating system, just like on a physical computer.
If you uploaded a virtual disk image (like QCOW2 or RAW), you can use the Install option. This will completely replace the primary hard drive of your VPS.
During installation, it is recommended to select VirtIO 0 as the target disk for the best performance. However, as noted above, if your image was built for a specific controller type, select that corresponding interface instead.
