• Information provided during registration and account management: name, email address, telephone number, billing name and address, tax number (for corporate clients);
• Payment and transaction history data;
• Data Related to Recurring Subscriptions (Barion & PayPal): If automated recurring payments are enabled, secure reference tokens generated by payment gateways (Barion `RecurrenceId` / PayPal Billing Agreement ID), transaction timestamps, amounts, and statuses are stored. *The Service Provider does NOT view or store credit card numbers or PayPal passwords.*

2. Technical and Service Usage Data

• IP address;
• Browser type, version, and operating system details;
• Geographical location (country/city level);
• Visited subpages, session duration, and support ticket/system logs.

IV. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Personal data is processed under the following legal bases:

• Performance of Contract (GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b)): Providing services, account management, customer support, order processing, and executing recurring payments/renewals.
• Legal Obligation (GDPR Art. 6 (1) (c)): Compliance with invoicing and accounting obligations under tax laws.
• Legitimate Interests (GDPR Art. 6 (1) (f)): Maintaining system security, preventing abuse/cyber-attacks, and troubleshooting.

• Server Infrastructure & Facility: Rackhost Zrt. (1132 Budapest, Victor Hugo utca 18-22.)

VI. Data Security

Data transmission is secured using TLS (HTTPS) encryption. Server infrastructure is located in secure facilities in Hungary. User passwords are saved using strong oneway cryptographic hashing (BCRYPT).

VII. Retention Period

Invoicing records are retained for 8 years pursuant to accounting law. Account and service data are retained for the duration of the contract and up to 5 years following termination (statute of limitations).

VIII. Your Rights under GDPR (Arts. 15-22)

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can exercise these rights by contacting info@vps4you.hu.
